Monika Baran
Dip. Therapeutic Counsellor & Psychotherapist. MBACP
I have been working with vulnerable adults with mental-health issues as a performing arts support worker for the past six years. This work has shown me how important it is for people to have the right environment and support and the difference this can make to their lives. This led to the realisation that I wanted to become a counsellor and offer support to others to achieve their potential.
I believe we can all find meaning, purpose and fulfilment
in our lives given the right environment and support.
I have been a volunteer counsellor for the past three years at Mind Clarity, Wirral Change and Tomorrow’s Women Wirral. Counselling within these organisations has given me an insight into the life experiences of many people that I would never have had the opportunity to know otherwise. I work with a variety of clients from various backgrounds, giving me a broad range of issues and clients to connect with, including different ethnic and cultural groups.
